HUMAN RIGHTS
RIGHTS BELONG TO EVERYONE.
Human rights are the basic freedoms, protections, and dignity that belong to every person simply because they are human. They include civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights—from housing, education, health and decent work to safety, expression, participation, and freedom from discrimination.
At UICD, we make human rights practical. We help people understand their rights, connect everyday conditions to human rights standards, and use those standards to organize, advocate, and hold institutions accountable.
